Lex Luthor Biography

Since taking over a Fertilizer Plant in Smallville five years ago, Lex Luthor has kept thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in the state of Kansas that would otherwise have gone oversees. Most notably, Lex halted a forced plant closure that would have left 3,000 residents of Kansas unemployed and the entire district economically shattered.

Since that time, the plant has turned a tremendous profit while coexisting harmoniously with the community. The Smallville plant serves as a shining example of how 21st-century business can still be conducted for a profit in America's Heartland--without compromising the strong, socially consciousness values that the people of Kansas hold dear.

Lex has demonstrated time and again that our children's futures are paramount. In the last three years, Lex Luthor has been the leading private donor to the Kansas state educational system.

Luthor has done much to aid the victims of the two Smallville meteor showers as well. Himself a victim of the first event, Lex has helped those adversely affected live as normal a life as possible though his charity work, support for scientific research and recently successful rebuilding efforts.
